WINSLOW — Donald Camp hit an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to score Dylan Hapworth with the only run of the game as Winslow beat Gardiner 1-0 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Wednesday.

Camp struck out three and walked two in five innings for Winslow, which improved to 9-0.

Josh McKelvey pitched a complete game for Gardiner (4-4), allowing four hits and two walks while striking two.

Messalonskee 7, Lawrence 6:
After Lawrence thought it had turned a game-ending double play in the top of the seventh inning, the out at first was overturned, the tying run scored on the play, and Messalonskee scored the game-winner a few batters later on a bases loaded walk.

Trevor Gettig had a pair of hits for Messalonskee (6-3), while Patrick Breton threw a complete game for the win.

Cody Martin had three hits for Lawrence (1-8). Joe Leclair had two hits for the Bulldogs.

Mountain Valley 11, Carrabec 1: Adam Volkernick struck out 11 and pitched six strong innings to lead the Falcons in North Anson.

Volkernick also had a single and a triple for Mountain Valley (4-3).

Brandon Lehay struck out eight in a losing effort for the Cobras (5-3). He also had a pair of hits.

Hampden 6, Mt. Blue 4: Cooper Antoine hit a three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning as the Broncos rallied with six runs to beat the Cougars in a KVAC A game in Farmington.

Mt. Blue (2-7) led 4-0 going into the seventh inning. Antoine home run gave Hampden (7-1) a 5-4 lead.

Brad Jackson allowed just two hits through six innings for Mt. Blue. Cam Abbott had a single and a double, while Moses Clark and Charlie Martin both had two singles.

Bangor 3, Skowhegan 0: Hunter Boyce had a pair of hits, drove in a run, and scored another to lead the Rams to the KVAC A win in Skowhegan.

Greg Duff threw a complete game for the shutout, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out three.

Kam Nelson went the distance for Skowhegan, giving up six hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Bangor is 7-2, Skowhegan is 5-4.

Lewiston 9 Erskine 7:
Eric Soucy’s two-run double in the bottom of the sixth lifted the Blue Devils to the KVAC Class A win in Lewiston. Erskine took a 7-6 lead in the fifth inning on a two-run single from Jared Gartley. John Suga had a pair of hits for Erskine (2-7). Lewiston is 7-2.

Nokomis 15,MCI 5: Spencer Hartsgrove and Noah Kershner each hit inside-the-park home runs to lift the Warriors in Newport.

Hartsgrove finised with five RBIs and and Jeff Ludden drove in a pair for Nokomis (3-6).

Cameron Michaud, Ethan Duplisea and Alex Bertrand each drove in runs for MCI (1-8).

Maranacook 13, Waterville 5: Cam Brochu homered and Zach Elwell had three hits as the Black Bears rallied past the Panthers in Waterville.

Waterville (6-3) led 5-1 before Maranacook (5-4) scored eight runs in the top of the sixth and three more in the seventh.

Elwell had a single, double and a triple. Carson Delheim also had a big day with a pair of doubles.
Cameron Gardiner had two singles to lead the Panthers.
