GARDINER –Brooke Davis scored six goals to lead the Gardiner girls lacrosse team to a 10-7 win over Camden Hills on Thursday.

Ally Day added two goals for the Tigers (7-0) while Julie Krouse and Brooke Curtis had one apiece. Day and Krouse also had two assists. Maddy Cutler made 12 saves.

Caroline Mateo had three goals and two assists for Camden Hills (4-20. Cailand Sweeting stopped nine shots.

Cony 21, Edward Little 11: Hayley Quirion had five goals and two assists, while Bayleigh Logan had four goals and four assists in the Rams Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Auburn.

Josie Lee and Emily Quirion both added four goals and three assists for Cony, which improves to 5-2. Haley Hanks had two goals, Katie Carroll had a goal and an assist and Autymn Robinson had one goal. Elizabeth Dennison earned the win with 11 saves.

The game was delayed about half an hour for a lightning delay.

Taylor Landry had five goals and an assist for Edward Little (2-4). Kate Sawyer and Kara Tancrel each aded two goals, while Allarie Lever had a goal and two assists and Taylor Berube had a goal. Julia Languin had six saves.

Softball

Kents Hill 25, NYA 6: Savanna Pooler had a home run, a triple and a double to lead the Huskies to the win in Kents Hill.

Abi Bowie and Molly McAleer also hit home runs for Kents Hill. Emma Curnin, Bridget West and McAleer chipped in with a double also.

College baseball

U.S. Coast Guard Academy 3, Husson 1: The Bears took a 2-0 lead in the third inning and held on to beat the Eagles in the first round of the ECAC tournament in New London, Conn.

The Eagles fall to 26-18 and will wait to see if their season continues.

Messalonskee graduate Dylan Foster had a sacrifice fly to drive in Husson’s only run.

Mike Massaro, Mark Behne and Nolan Gallagher each had an RBI for Coast Guard.
