Police charged two male juveniles with criminal mischief after employees at Erskine Academy on Windsor Road discovered a large number of tire marks on the front lawn. The damage was estimated at $4,000.
At 9:04 a.m., theft was reported at North Most Camp.
4:11 p.m., mischief was reported on Stanley Hill Road.
9:15 p.m., an assault was reported on Windsor Road.

April 29
Police were called to Hall-Dale High School on Maple Street to assist with a student who refused to leave the school. The student and his mother were warned for criminal trespass and left.

At 1:19 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on River Avenue.
3:45 p.m., there was an accident on Brunswick Avenue.
9:36 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Mount Vernon Street.
11:02 p.m., a burglary was reported on Ash Street.

A 23-year-old man was charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia and an open alcoholic container in a vehicle during a traffic stop for a malfunctioning plate light on Main Street.

April 30
Police responded to a 911 hang-up call. An officer determined that a child at a day care center was playing with a phone.
Police responded to a report of an assault. The investigation is ongoing.
May 3
Joshua Byras, 26, of Litchfield, was charged with operating under the influence and violating conditions of release by police responding to a crash on Buker Road. A 17-year-old girl was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Byras was not hurt. Police said at the time that Byras was driving north around 6:30 a.m. when his Volkswagen Jetta went off the right side of the road and hit a utility pole. The crash destroyed the Jetta and knocked out power in three communities for 90 minutes.

At 2:10 p.m., theft was reported on Perkins Road.


At 12:32 p.m., a burglar alarm sounded on Crocker Road.
At 12:47 a.m., a burglar alarm sounded on Route 194.

A 52-year-old man was charged with a usable amount of marijuana during a traffic stop for speeding on Interstate 295.

A 37-year-old Windsor woman was charged with operating after suspension and operating an unregistered vehicle 150-plus days during a traffic stop on Route 105.
A 47-year-old Chelsea man was charged with attaching false plates during a traffic stop on Route 105.
At 9:08 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Wingood Road.

4:26 p.m., there was an accident.
4:37 p.m., there was a report of a hit-and-run accident.
7:15 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity.
9:57 p.m., there was a carbon monoxide alarm.
At 1:44 p.m., there was a report of a stray animal.

Police responding to a complaint on Maine Avenue arrested Dakota Terranova, 23, on charges of domestic-violence assault and terrorizing.
