AUGUSTA — The Maine Turnpike at mile 108 in Hallowell, just south of the Western Avenue, will have traffic stops in both directions late Monday and early Tuesday, the Maine Turnpike Authority announced in a press release.

Weather permitting, the stops, which will be up to 20 minutes at a time, will start at 10 p.m. Monday and end at 2 a.m. Tuesday.

The stops are required to allow crews to “perform overhead utility work,” the release stated.
