FARMINGTON — Four people were indicted Tuesday on charges connected to the drug overdose death of a Farmington woman, according to court documents.

Roy Gordon, 42, Terry Oliver, 53, Seth Gordon, 23, and Eric Barnes, 27, were indicted by a Franklin Superior Court grand jury on charges connected with the death of Marilyn Rider, 52, who died of a morphine overdose at her Silver Maple Lane home.

Rider had injected morphine the day before during a birthday party for Roy Gordon at his parents’ house in Wilton, according to the affidavit.

The morphine was sold the day of the party to Gordon by Oliver. Seth Gordon told police he gave Rider the first injection and Barnes, who also was reportedly at the party, gave her a second injection, according to the affidavit. Seth Gordon said his father prepared the doses.

The fifth person charged in connection with Rider’s death, Scott Kidder, 32, of Wilton, accepted a plea deal in March and was sentenced to two years’ probation and ordered to pay a $400 fine for furnishing the morphine she overdosed on.
