FARMINGTON — Three people were indicted Tuesday on charges connected to a heroin and crack cocaine distribution ring in Rangeley, according to court documents.

Michael Chandler, 33, of Philadelphia; Jami Driscoll, 23, of Auburn; and Tyler McFarland, 31, of Gray, were indicted by a Franklin Superior Court grand jury after being arrested by Maine Drug Enforcement Agency agents in connection with a string of drug-related charges including trafficking in heroin.

The three were arrested by agents after police raided a Rangeley residence and hotel and found $8,200 in cash, 157 bags of heroin, 20 grams of crack cocaine, oxycodone pills and amphetamine capsules.

At the time of the arrest, McFarland was already on probation after a conviction in 2007 for robbery, burglary and elevated aggravated assault when he attacked a man with a baseball bat while stealing drugs.
