WALES — Jake Martin threw a perfect game, striking out six batters, and hit a home run to lead the Oak Hills to a 20-0 win against Telstar in a Mountain Valley Conference game shortened to five innings due to the mercy rule.

Ben Lemieux went 4 for 4 for Oak Hill (6-6), smacking a home run and two doubles. Lemieux had five RBIs. Parker Asselin had two doubles, while Brady Dion had two triples and Dalton Therrien had a triple for the Raiders.

Telstar fell to 1-10 on the season.

Mt. View 11, Maranacook 5: Nathan Wren and Kyle Turner hit back-to-back home runs as the Mustangs scored four times in the first inning and cruised to a KVAC B win over the Black Bears in Thorndike.

Turner went 4 for 4, scored three runs, doubled and drove in three for Mt. View (4-9). Wren had three hits, scored three times and drove in a pair of runs.

Cam Brochu tripled and Kevin Johnson doubled for Maranacook (6-6).

Winthrop 4, Carrabec 3: Mario Meucci drove in the game-winning run in the top of the seventh inning with one out as the Ramblers beat the Cobras in an MVC game in North Anson.

Meucci had two singles for Winthrop (9-2). Matt Sekerak earned the win, striking out eight and walking two.

Brandon Lehay pitched a complete game for Carrabec (3-8), allowing four runs on six hits, while striking out seven and walking five.

Dirigo 12, Monmouth 4: The Cougars had 11 hits en route to the MVC win in Monmouth. Tyler Frost and Hunter Ross each singled and doubled for Dirigo (10-2) while Brett Whittemore aded two singles. Brandon Goff had a pair of hits for Monmouth (8-4).

Hall-Dale 9, Mountain Valley 0: Brian Allen pitched a complete game and Matt Plourde had three singles and two RBIs as the Bulldogs beat the Falcons in an MVC game in Rumford.

Allen allowed four this, struck out three and walked three to earn his second win of the season for Hall-Dale (6-5). Nick Sinclair added a pair of RBIs.

Mountain Valley is now 6-5.

Oceanside 9, Gardiner 7: Thomas Curtis hit a go-ahead RBI double in the sixth, Nick Judge plated him with an RBI single, and the Mariners (8-5) rallied from a 6-0 hole against the visiting Tigers (6-6).
Zach Farin drove in two runs to help Gardiner go up by six in the first two innings.

A three-run homer by Nick Mazurek in the third and a three-run shot by J.T. Tobin in the fifth got Oceanside back in the game.

Mazurek struck out nine and allowed three earned runs in six innings for the win.

Boys lacrosse

Cony 12, Oxford Hills 3: Bronson Kieltyka scored three goals to lead the Rams to a win over the Vikings in South Paris. Tyler Leet, Brendan Surette and Nick Benner each had two goals for Cony (2-8), while Austin Davis and John Bennett each had a goal for the Rams. Oxford Hills falls to 0-9.

Gardiner 12, Morse 9: Josh Caldwell and Alex Nedeau each scored three goals to lead the Tigers to a win over the Shipbuilders. Keegan Smith and Dalton Sargent each scored two goals for Gardiner (10-0), while Josh Moore and Tyler Jamison each scored a goal.

Alexander Paulus and Matt Buczkowski each had three goals for Morse (7-3).
