AUGUSTA — Chandler Shostak scored from third base on a bases loaded walk to Mitchell Caron in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Cony baseball team a 3-2 win over Lewiston in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game.

Shostak smacked a double and stole two bases for Cony (11-4). Tayler Carrier had two RBIs.
Zach Lachance went the distance to earn the win on the mound for the Rams, giving up two hits to Lewiston.

Eric Soucy and Gary Cote each had singles for Lewiston (9-6).

Waterville 11, Gardiner 0, 5 innings: Dan Pooler had a three-run triple in the third inning and a two-run triple in the fifth as the Panthers beat the Tigers in a KVAC B game shortened to five-innings by the 10-run rule in Waterville.

Tyler Bouchard added a two-run double and Racean Wood a two-run single for Waterville (12-3). Aidan FitzGerald also had two singles for the Panthers, who got a strong outing from starting pitcher Brian Bellows (five innings, five hits, three walks, one hit batter, five strike outs).

Ian Lane had two singles for Gardiner (6-7).

Erskine 9, Edward Little 7: Josh Bailey had a two-run single in the top of the seventh inning as the Eagles ralllied to take the lead and held on to beat the Eddies in a KVAC A game in Auburn.

Catcher John Suga had a grand slam in the second inning as Erskine (5-10) jumped out to a 6-0 lead.

Nate Pushard had a double and a single for the Eddies (5-10).

Nokomis 6, Gardiner 5: Justin Kazprzak, Jeff Ludden and Connor Allen all had two singles as the Warriors beat the Tigers in a KVAC B game in Gardiner.

Chandler Foss and Spencer Hartsgrove both added a double for Nokomis (6-8).
Ian Lane had a double and an RBI, while Dennis Meehan had two singles for Gardiner (6-8).

Hall-Dale 6, Carrabec 5: Matt Plourde double, stole third and scored on a fielder’s choice by Zach McNaughton in the fifth inning as the Bulldogs beat the Cobras in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.

Plourde had two doubles and a single for Hall-Dale (9-5). Ryan Sinclair added a double and a single, while Brian Allen and Taylor Lockhart both had two singles for the Bulldogs.

Brandon Lehigh had a double and a single, while Tucker Atwood had two singles for Carrabec (4-9).

Hall-Dale 13, Telstar 3, 5 innings: Nat Crocker and Nick Sinclair each had two hits, including a double, to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC victory over the Rebels in Farmingdale, a game ended in the fifth inning by the mercy rule.

Colin Lush had two singles for Hall-Dale (10-5).

Buddy Williamson had two singles for Telstar (1-12).

Monmouth 6, Carrabec 1: Devin West hit a two-run single in the sixth inning as the Mustangs scored three times in an MVC win over the Cobras in Monmouth.

Kyle Fletcher added two singles and an RBI for the Mustangs (10-4).

Will Crawford had an RBI double in the fourth for Carrabec (4-10).
