AUGUSTA —Sonja Morse had 13 strikeouts, allowing one hit to lead the Cony softball team to a 12-0 win over the Lewiston in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game on Monday, a game stopped after five innings due to the mercy rule.

Morse also produced at the plate, collecting four hits, including a double and triple, along with four RBIs.

Arika Brochu and Olivia Deeves each had two hits, including a double and RBI for the Rams (14-1).
Lewiston (2-13) received its lone hit from Meghan Girouard.

Edward Little 14, Erskine 6: Avery Bond and Kaitlyn Sutter each had two singles for the Eagles, but it wasn’t enough to beat the Red Eddies, who picked up the KVAC A victory in Auburn.

Molly Murray led Edward Little (10-5) with two doubles.

Erskine falls to 7-8 on the season.

Telstar 2, Hall-Dale 1, 9 innings: Autumn Berry scored the game-winning run in the ninth inning as the Rebels beat the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.

Hall-Dale (9-6) tied the game at 1 when Natasha Brown drove in Morgan Rush with a two-out double.
Jessie Dirago hit a home run in the fifth inning for Telstar (10-5).

Carrabec 7, Monmouth 6: The Cobras scored three times in the top of the seventh inning and held on to beat the Mustangs in an MVC game in Monmouth.

Libby Chestnut had three hits, while Jessica Vaillancourt had a dobuel and two RBIs for Carrabec (4-9). Brooke Lewis added two hits, scored two runs and drove in a run for the Cobras.

Paxton Lessard had two RBIs for Monmouth (6-6).

Oak Hill 9, Mt. Abram 2: Jamie Prue had a triple, a single and drove in a run as the Raiders beat the Roadrunners in an MVC game in Wales.

Kortni Michaud added a double, two singles and an RBI for Oak Hill (12-3). She also earned the win, striking out 11 in a complete game. Brianna Hodgkins chipped in with a double, a single and two RBIs.

Katie Jordan doubled for Mt. Abram (5-9).

Gardiner 6, Nokomis 4: Kylee Granholm had three hits to lead the Tigers to a KVAC B win over the Warriors in Newport.

Morgan Carver added a double for Gardiner (13-1).

Taylor Lovely had two hits for Nokomis (9-5), including a double.

Brewer 3, Messalonskee 2: Sam Pellegrino had a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning as the Witches took a 3-1 lead and held on for the KVAC A win in Brewer.

Phoebe Pelletier had an RBI double in the third inning and drove in another run in the sixth when she was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the sixth for Messalonskee (11-4). Bri Garland scored both runs for the Eagles. Kylee Knight had three singles and Courtney Veilleux added two singles for Messalonskee.

Morgan Small had a double for Brewer (15-0).
