WATERVILLE — Dan Pooler had a three-run triple in the third inning and a two-run triple in the fifth as the Waterville Senior High School baseball team beat Gardiner 11-0 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game shortened to five innings by the 0-run rule Monday.

Tyler Bouchard added a two-run double and Racean Wood a two-run single for Waterville (12-3). Aidan FitzGerald also had two singles for the Panthers, who got a strong outing from starting pitcher Brian Bellows (five innings, five hits, three walks, one hit batter, five strike outs).

Ian Lane had two singles for Gardiner (6-7).

Winslow 14, MCI 0, 5 innings: Donald Camp retired all nine men he faced and Gabe Smith had two singles, an RBI and scored three runs as the Black Raiders beat the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Pittsfield.

Chase Colford added a double and scored three times, while Dylan Hapworth had a triple and scored four times for Winslow (13-2). Zach Guptill also scored twice.

Cameron Michaud singled in the forth inning to record the only hit for MCI (1-13).

Erskine 9, Edward Little 7: Josh Bailey had a two-run single in the top of the seventh inning as the Eagles rallied to take the lead and held on to beat the Eddies in a KVAC A game in Auburn.

Catcher John Suga had a grand slam in the second inning as Erskine (5-10) jumped out to a 6-0 lead.

Nate Pushard had a double and a single for the Eddies (5-10).

Nokomis 6, Gardiner 5: Justin Kazprzak, Jeff Ludden and Connor Allen all had two singles as the Warriors beat the Tigers in a KVAC B game in Gardiner.

Chandler Foss and Spencer Hartsgrove both added a double for Nokomis (6-8).

Ian Lane had a double and an RBI, while Dennis Meehan had two singles for Gardiner (6-8).

Hall-Dale 6, Carrabec 5: Matt Plourde double, stole third and scored on a fielder’s choice by Zach McNaughton in the fifth inning as the Bulldogs beat the Cobras in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.

Plourde had two doubles and a single for Hall-Dale (9-5). Ryan Sinclair added a double and a single, while Brian Allen and Taylor Lockhart both had two singles for the Bulldogs.

Brandon Lehigh had a double and a single, while Tucker Atwood had two singles for Carrabec (4-9).

Monmouth 6, Carrabec 1: Devin West hit a two-run single in the sixth inning as the Mustangs scored three times in an MVC win over the Cobras in Monmouth.

Kyle Fletcher added two singles and an RBI for the Mustangs (10-4).

Will Crawford had an RBI double in the fourth for Carrabec (4-10).

Hampden 3, Lawrence 0: Sam Ward had an RBI single and Matt Palmer stole home as the Broncos beat the Bulldogs in a KVAC A game in Fairfield.

Michael Ward pitched a complete game shutout, allowing three hits, while striking out five and walking one for Hampden (13-2).

J.T. Nutting, Matt Champney and JJ Bushaw each singled for Lawrence (4-11).

Mt. Blue 5, Brewer 4: Andrew Pratt had a single and a triple as the Cougars beat the Witches in a KVAC A game in Brewer.

Colton Lawrence pitched six innings to earn the win for Mt. Blue (3-11).
