AUGUSTA — The Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday to discuss the school budget.
The Augusta City Council is considering the school budget, as part of the total $52 million city and school budget. Councilors could vote on the budget as soon as Thursday.
School board members are likely to discuss proposed changes to the budget at their meeting Monday. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at Augusta City Center.
