CHESTERVILLE — A community-wide yard sale is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Chesterville Town Office, sponsored by the Board of the Chesterville Center Union Meeting House Inc.
Kennebec Montessori event planned Friday
FARIFIELD — Prospective parents and their children are invited to Montessori for Me, from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Kennebec Montessori School, 38 Sheridan Drive. This is an informal opportunity to learn more about the early childhood and elementary programs available for children ages 2 to 9 years old. Children can explore hands-on educational materials with the guidance of a certified teacher. The Head of School and current parents will be available to answer questions about the Montessori method, which is designed to foster the natural curiosity of children and develop independence.

WINDSOR — The Kennebec County 4-H Leaders Association is sponsoring the Spring Fling Ticket Auction on Saturday, May 25 at the Windsor Fairgrounds (Main Exhibition Hall) on Route 32.The doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Bidding will close at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students 5-17 years of age, with those 4 years old and younger free, which includes dinner and five tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased at 10 tickets for $1.
