PORTLAND — Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Portland.
Authorities said a 22-year-old man was found early Friday morning on Wharf Street with multiple stab wounds.
Police said the man was admitted to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The assault happened around 1:30 a.m. on Friday between Mark’s Place and Fore Street.
Anyone who may have witnessed the assault is asked to call Portland police.
