Waterville voters on Tuesday approved a proposed $20.3 million Alternative Organizational Structure 92 budget for 2013-14, in a 212-52 vote; they tied on whether to continue the budget validation referendum process for an additional three years, 132-132.

City Clerk Patti Dubois said late Tuesday that the vote would be recounted for that item.

In Vassalboro, voters approved a proposed $6.7 million school budget, 176-35; they also decided to continue the budget validation question, 118 to 92

Incumbent School Committee members Philip Landry and Kevin Levasseur were re-elected to the board, with 115 and 105 votes respectively, defeating newcomer Bradley Stout, who got 65 votes.
