PALMYRA — The Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce recently hosted Gov. Paul Lepage for a roundtable discussion on the business climate in Maine with SVCC Board members and town managers. The Governor also brought along George Gervais, commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development, and John Butera, senior economic advisor, according to a Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce news release.
The Governor also informed the group that on every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, he has “Constituent Time.” Anyone can visit, in a 15-minute time slot, for questions and concerns. For more information or to sign up, visit maine.gov/governor/lepage/ citizen_services/index.shtml
Also, at the meeting, Gervais provided a Red Tape Hotline number for business questions and assistance needed on business issues, the number is 624-7486.
