Gov. Paul LePage tees off Monday during the 8th annual Marlee Johnston Golf Tournament at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club.

Sponsored by Kents Hill School, the tournament has raised more than $100,000 for the Marlee Johnston Memorial Scholarship Fund since it began.

Established in 2006 by Marlee’s parents, Ted Johnston and Marlene Thibodeau, the money helps day students attend the private school in Readfield, in memory of the Fayette 14-year-old who was murdered in 2005.
