AUGUSTA — Law enforcement authorities say a 2-year-old Farmingdale boy found floating face down in his family’s pool last week appears to be improving.
Police say Cody Campbell had a pulse but no brain activity after he was pulled from the above-ground pool by his mother last Thursday.
Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department officials say Cody is recovering at Maine Medical Center and he now recognizes his parents.
Sheriff Randall Liberty tells WMTW-TV that he is also talking, though with some difficulty.
Cody was at home with his mom, two siblings and two friends when he went missing and was found in the pool.
