WATERVILLE — The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers will host its inaugural Christmas in July Family Carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20.

The family friendly carnival is a fundraiser to help raise awareness and funds for the agency’s year-round Christmas program. The event includes kid-friendly carnival games, a chance to meet Santa, and food and ice cream. The fundraiser will also include giveaways, information from local businesses and a raffle to win a free Christmas tree.

Admission is free and attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to support the Christmas program.

All items must be new items. An acceptable donation items include: warm outfits for children sizes 2-18 (jeans or khakis, and a long-sleeved top or sweatshirt), toys (such as lighted, musical or developmental toys for infants and toddlers), superhero action figures, arts and crafts kits, Lego sets or dolls and accessories. A free make-your-own sundae bar will be available for participants donating warm outfits of clothing.
