While it is apparent that Gov. Paul LePage will never be mistaken for an intellectual, he is bright enough to realize that he has no chance of being re-elected governor.
Of the three career options he spoke about last week, stocking shelves at Marden’s is probably his best bet.
It is unfortunate that the governor was not able to lose the chip that he had on his shoulder before taking office.
Any opportunity he had to provide positive leadership for the people of Maine is probably now gone forever, lost by his own self-destructive behavior.
