Dennis Harrington plays a cornet that belonged to R.B. Hall during the 33rd R.B. Hall Day Music Festival on Saturday at Old Fort Western in Augusta.

Harrington said that the cornet was given by the city of Bangor to musician, bandmaster and composer of marches Robert Browne Hall in 1884.

It was on loan, to be played at festival by Reddington Museum in Waterville.

There were more than 10 community bands playing at the event.
