SOLON — Brooke Pierpont and Joshua Mattingly were married on June 1, 2013 at the Robbins Hill Scenic Outlook on Route 201 in Solon at sunset, given in marriage by her father and in the presence of their families with Pastor Val Vigue officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pierpont of East Madison. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Mattingly, of North Anson.
A reception followed at Crossroads Bible Church in Madison. The couple, along with fellow guests, ended the reception by releasing paper sky lanterns, each one released with a prayer of a wish for health, love or prosperity.
