WATERVILLE — Leading Women’s Luncheon will host State Economist Amanda Rector 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, at O’Brien’s Restaurant, Best Western Plus, 375 Main St.
The luncheon will begin with a networking reception followed by the luncheon and presentation at noon. Rector is the state economist at the Governor’s Office of Policy and Management. She serves as the governor’s liaison to the U.S. Census Bureau, is a member of the Revenue Forecasting Committee and supports the director of OPM on economic and tax policy issues affecting Maine. She conducts ongoing analysis of Maine’s economy and demographics to inform planning and policy decisions.
The cost is $20 for members who register ahead of time, $25 registration at the door and $25 general admission. Registration is required and includes luncheon buffet.
