At 10:22 a.m., two juveniles, ages 17 and 15, were charged with theft by police responding to a theft complaint at Harvey Distributing Company on Maine Avenue. The 17-year-old also was charged with criminal mischief.

6:11 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Moonlight Drive.

WEDNESDAY
At 4:41 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of fire at a Second Street apartment building. It turned out to be a grease fire that was extinguished by the tenant before it could spread. The building was evacuated for a time while firefighters cleared smoke from the building.

9:17 p.m., Dawn L. Hunt, 32, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear by police responding to a report of an assault on State Street.
THURSDAY
At 10:14 a.m., Jarrod Zachary Standring, 29, of Farmingdale, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

At 3:15 p.m., Lester J. Helphrey, 41, of Winthrop, was arrested on a charge of failure to comply with the sex offender registry.
