At 10:22 a.m., two juveniles, ages 17 and 15, were charged with theft by police responding to a theft complaint at Harvey Distributing Company on Maine Avenue. The 17-year-old also was charged with criminal mischief.

At 4:41 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of fire at a Second Street apartment building. It turned out to be a grease fire that was extinguished by the tenant before it could spread. The building was evacuated for a time while firefighters cleared smoke from the building.
