ANSON — The Town Office will temporarily move because of a mold problem that has affected air quality in offices, according to administrative assistant Bob Worthley.

Starting Monday, the Town Office will relocate to 5 Kennebec St., while cleanup on the old building is underway. The office will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week for the move.

Worthley said he did not know what the cause of the mold was but the town is working on getting it cleaned up. He said he wasn’t sure yet what the cost of the cleanup will be.
