The Manchester Planning Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday to review a proposal to move a motor vehicle repair and sales business to a new spot in town.

Jason Black has proposed to move his existing automotive business, JMB Industries, from Summerhaven Road to a 321 Scribner Hill Road site on the former Dudley farm, according to Code Enforcement Officer Paul Mitnik.

The new site is in the town’s Rural Residential District, and the move would require a major site review and special exception.

The board meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Manchester Town Office.

The board also is scheduled to consider a request from Karen Melecha to expand and rebuild an existing deck near Cobbossee Lake at 35 Williamson Road. The spot is in the Shoreland District and would require board approval to expand a nonconforming structure.
