I want to thank everyone who helped make the Wayne Community Church auction such a great success.

We enjoy sharing this event with the community every year, and the money raised will help to support the church’s many programs.

We also appreciate the Kennebec Journal’s coverage of the auction.

We do wish to clarify that the church supports Pooh Bear nursery school and after-school programs by providing space, heat and electricity; all other expenses are the responsibility of the program director.

Next year we look forward to continuing the tradition with the opening celebration and live auction on July 3 and the silent auction on July 5.
