WATERVILLE — Mary Fifield recently was named the interim president to head Hardy Girls Healthy Women.

Fifield comes to Hardy Girls with 23 years of experience providing executive counsel to the leadership of a wide range of nonprofit organizations regarding issues that are of critical importance to them, including organizational mission and identity, marketing, development, and public affairs, according to a news release.

Fifield began her tenure on July 1, and has a six-month contract.
