I read in disbelief that the city of Augusta refused to waive the noise limitations for the concerts at the Red Barn.

This business goes way above and beyond for the citizens of the area, with countless fundraisers and free food at the annual Cancer Survivor Day at the Alfond Center.

All that they do is at the expense of the owners and employees. They never ask anything of anyone, no money, time, nothing. All they ask is for a little consideration for one hour each week for a few weeks in the summer.

For the city not to grant this request because of two crybaby neighbors leaves me shaking my head.

I have a solution for the complainers. Every Tuesday for the summer, they should take a ride around town for an hour. When they get back, it’ll all be over.
