WATERVILLE — Barrels Market will host a celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 74 Main St. There will be free food, live music and activities in the store and in the park.
Music will be provided by the Northstart Sisters, smoothies made with a bike blender will be on-site. Participants can pet a goat from the Kennebec Chessery, enter a raffle to win party platters, learn the perks of becoming a member-owner of Barrels and consider an equity ownership stake in the market, a vote to choose the board of directors, that runs the co-op — and shape the future of Barrels. Enjoy periodic member specials, having access to thousands of discounted items through the the bulk-buying club.
