WASHINGTON — A cooking class focusing on cancer prevention and survival will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gibbs Library, 40 Old Union Road.

This free cooking demonstration is offered by the Maine Cancer Consortium, the Picker Family Resource Center and Food for Life instructor MiMi McGee. Participants will learn how to use vegetables, fruits, grains and legumes to improve health and support wellness goals.
