AUGUSTA — Cony High School has announced the awards, prizes and scholarships presented to the class of 2013 during Cony Award assemblies and Class Day.

AUGUSTA — The University of Maine at Augusta has announced its spring 2013 dean’s list. Students listed by county and town.

BOSTON — Boston University awarded Emma L. Walters, bachelor of arts in international relations and religion and Marina S. Welch, bachelor of arts in biology, specialization in ecology and conservation biology. Both of the graduates are from Winslow High School.

BANGOR — The following students received diplomas from Husson University on May 11 in Bangor, or May 18, in Portland, the 106th Commencements of Husson University.

FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue High School recently announced its fourth quarter honor roll.

WATERVILLE — Waterville Fire Department will resume annual testing of fire hydrants. The purpose of testing is to assure the Kennebec Water District’s water distribution system provides adequate water supply at various locations for its fire suppression operations, according to a Waterville Fire Department press release. Testing is required by Insurance Services Organization, an organization that determines fire insurance rates, and the National Fire Protection Association Standard 291, recommended practice for fire flow testing of fire hydrants.
