PALERMO — Palermo American Legion, Post 163, has announced the winners of its recent raffle drawing.
The winners were Stan Weller of Gilbertsville, Pa., who won a canoe; Adam Penney of Winslow won a kayak; and Kay Archer of Palermo won $100.
Weller bought his raffle ticket while visiting friends in Maine. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania with his family, Weller worked for several years at the VA Maine Healthcare System at Togus.
Archer, a member of Post 163, donated half of his winnings back to the American Legion.
