An Oakland woman remained in critical condition today at a Lewiston hospital after a head-on collision this week on Route 137 in Winslow, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Karen Beaulieu, 40, was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by LifeFlight helicopter around 5 p.m. Wednesday, after sustaining severe injuries when the Mazda 626 sedan she was driving crashed head-on into a truck, according to Winslow police officer Brandon Lund.
The Mazda was destroyed and the driver of the Mack truck, David Greene, 55, of Plymouth, was not injured.
