SEARSPORT — A Maine woman has been accused of striking her 6-year-old stepdaughter with a screwdriver.
Police have charged 24-year-old Felicia Moulton of Searsport with assault.
WABI-TV reports police said they were contacted by a pediatrician in June about bruises on the girl’s arm and a bump on her head.
When officers talked to Moulton, they say she admitted to striking her stepdaughter with the screwdriver, saying she was being too loud.
It wasn’t immediately known if Moulton had a lawyer.
