WAYNE — Bookplates and correspondence donated by Elizabeth Hyatt to the Cary Memorial Library, as well as brief excerpts about the artists and the collectors, will be on display at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road, Saturday through Monday, Sept. 2.
The bookplates were collected in the 1920s and 30s from famous collectors and artists such as Woodrow Wilson, Queen Alexandra, Howard Pyle, Rockwell Kent and more.
The exhibit, offered by Cary Memorial Library, will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Monday; 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Aug. 29; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 and Monday, Sept. 2.
