AUGUSTA — A city woman and a Chelsea man escaped with minor injuries after their cars collided this morning at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Cony Road, police said.

Alicia Tuttle, 26, of Augusta, was headed east on Eastern Avenue, Augusta police Sgt. Christian Behr said. When she tried to turn left onto Cony Road, she pulled in front of Robert Cunningham, 63, of Chelsea.

Both were taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta with minor injuries, Behr said, and the vehicles were towed from the scene.
