Although I do not always agree with the position or message of the weekly Skowhegan Sunday bridge protests, the whistles and honking of horns that I hear from my apartment are a grounding reminder that we live in a country where we have the right to speak up and voice our opinions.
Thank you to all the folks who beat the pavement for helping me not to take this for granted.
