THORNDIKE — Avery Bond and Tasha Dutil each scored goals to lead the Erskine girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Mt. View in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game.

Bond scored her goal 19 minutes into the first half for the Eagles (3-1), off an assist from Jade Canak. Dutil scored her goal 28 minutes into the half, off an assist from Emma Wilkinson.

Erskine goalkeeper Cassandra Ray made four saves for the shutout.

Tori Strain made 11 saves for the Mustangs (0-3).

Brunswick 4, Messalonskee 0: Caley Nicholson scored two goals and Anna Cowan scored a goal and an assist to lead the Dragons in a KVAC A game.

Kassidy Scarponi also scored for Brunswick (2-2-0) while Alicia Davis had two assists.

Kealey Douglas had 10 saves for the Eagles (0-3-0).

Mt. Abram 1, Winthrop 0: Risa Marble scored off a corner kick with 38:11 remaining in regulation to lift the Roadrunners to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Salem.

Emma Houston took the corner for Mt. Abram (2-2-0).

Haley Choate had 14 saves to pace Winthrop (0-3-0).

Nokomis 2, Maranacook 2 2OT:
Nokomis grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first half before Maranacook stormed back to force a tie in Newport.

Sarah Clough scored an unassisted goal to pull the Black Bears even (1-2-1) with 25:26 left in the game. Lindsey Perkins also scored for Maranacook.

Kylie Richards scored both goals for Nokomis (2-1-1).

Elizabeth D’Angelo had 14 saves for Maranacook while Becky Orcutt had 10 for Nokomis.

Monmouth 8, Boothbay 0:
Haley Fletcher scored three goals and Sammy Grandahl had two goals and an assist to pace the Mustangs in Monmouth.

Sabrina Beck, Paxton Lessard and Caleigh Copeland also scored for Monmouth (3-1-0), which led 5-0 at the half.

Jamie Wheeler had 18 saves for Boothbay (0-3-0).

Richmond 3, Rangeley 0: Kelsea Anair scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Bobcats to the East/West Conference win in Richmond. Amber Loon and Cassidy Harriman eaach added a goal while Miranda Martin contributed two assists. Tori Letarte made 24 saves Rangeley (2-1-0) while Kelsi Obi made three for Richmond (4-1-0).

Boys soccer

Richmond 8, Rangeley 0: Brendan Emmons and Nate Tribbet each scored two goals to lead the Bobcats in Richmond.

Cameron Emmons scored a goal and added two assists for Richmond (4-0-0).

Nathan Vintenner, Cody Tribbet and Brady Johnson also had goals for Richmond.

Dale White had 30 saves for Rangeley (0-2-0).

Hall-Dale 6, Lisbon 0:
Nat Crocker scored three goals and Konnor Longfellow had two goals and as many assists to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Lisbon.

Steve Longfellow also scored for Hall-Dale (4-0-0).

Nate Bergeron had 17 saves for Lisbon (0-2-1).

Gardiner 1, Morse 0: Larsson Lunt scored with 2:45 left in regulation to lift the Tigers to the victory in Bath.

The goal came off a free kick from Trevor Quirion.

Kenneth Moore had five saves for Gardiner (1-3-1) while Myles Day had three for Morse (0-4-0).

Field hockey

Gardiner 5, Belfast 3: Madeline Reny scored three goas and an assist to pace the Tigers in a KVAC B game at Gardiner.

Camden Cone and Nicole Chadwick also scored for the Tigers (4-2), who led 4-1 at the half.
Nickyia Lovely and Abby Dyer had assists.

Kylie Nelson scored two goals to pace Belfast (1-3).

Men’s soccer

Thomas 6, USM 0: Kenny Cano scored a pair of goals as the Terriers cruised to a win over the Huskies in a non-conference game.

Maranacook Community School graduate Dakota Duplissie, Joshua Phelps, Guled Guled and Kevin Parsons also scored for Thomas (3-2-0). Michael Hand had a pair of assists.

Adam Verreault had six saves for Southern Maine (0-6-1).

UM-Farmington 0, Lyndon State 0: Derek Reilly had six saves as the Beavers earned a tie in a North Atlantic Conference game in Farmington.

UMF (1-1-1, 0-0-1 in the conference) took 19 shots and put seven on net. Lyndon State (0-4-1, 0-0-1 in the conference) took 14 shots, six of which were on net.

Women’s soccer

St. Joseph’s 1, Thomas 0: Lauren Chouinard scored in the game’s 65th minute as the Monks held off the Terriers in Waterville.

Jaci Lorenzen made four saves for St. Joe’s (5-1), while Kate Thibodeau stopped eight shots for Thomas (2-4).
