Als, the organization offers A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns about falls workshops in many of its community centers and at adult housing complexes to help older adults gain the strength, improved balance, and confidence to help them live healthier lives and preserve their independence.

The workshop is designed to increase the activity levels of adults who have experienced falls, or who are concerned about falling. The program helps seniors improve their quality of life and remain independent, while improving strength, stamina and balance.
