OAKLAND — Pleasant Street will be closed beginning Monday and continuing through Wednesday.
The road, a major traffic route for commuter and school bus traffic, will be closed so that the Maine Department of Transportation and Pan Am Railways can repair a railroad crossing, according to Town Manager Peter Nielsen.
Similar work was done on the crossing on Route 27 in Belgrade this week.
