* Tuesday, Oct. 1: Acoustic Jam Session — eight weeks, 7 p.m.; Certified Nursing — 15 weeks, 6 p.m.; and Guitar for Beginners — eight weeks, 5:45 p.m.

* Wednesday, Oct. 2: Learn to Make Sauerkraut, 6 p.m.; and Using Windows 8 — two weeks, 6 p.m.

* Thursday, Oct. 3: Beginning Crocheting — seven weeks, 6 p.m.; Lighthouse on Slate, 6 p.m.; Special Occasion and Portrait Photography — two weeks, 6 p.m.; Stained Glass Workshop — six weeks, 6:30 p.m.; and Tole painting – Four Season Tissue Box, 6 p.m.

* Saturday, Oct. 5: Genealogy at the Maine State Library — three weeks, 9:30 a.m.

* Sunday, Oct. 6: Edible Mushroom Collecting Walk, 11 a.m.
