BRUNKSWICK  — Local musicians performed today to raise money for programs that fight hunger.

The second annual “Singing for Their Supper” fundraiser was held at the Taste of Brunswick. The fundraiser kicked off Friday night at Brunswick’s Frontier Cafe.

New England musicians and local restaurants have teamed up to host the performances and raise money for the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. The organization provides a soup kitchen, food bank and referral services to people living at or below the poverty level in the greater Brunswick area.

Amy Allen, The Ghost of Paul Revere, Spencer Albee and The Alternate Routes are performing Saturday. Local restaurants like Bombay Mahal, The Great Impasta and Sea Dog Brewing will be serving food.
