VASSALBORO — The Vassalboro United Methodist Church will celebrate 25 years of worshiping together at 10 a.m. Sunday during the regular church service in the Methodist Church building on Route 32.

A brief history of the combining of of the North and East Vassalboro churches will be given. One hymn to be sung was written especially for the church by a former pastor, the Rev. Gilbert Taverner.

A potluck dinner is planned after the service. A display of photo albums and other memorabilia from both the old East and North churches will be on display. All faiths, families and friends are welcome to attend and learn more about the church.
