Leading Women’s Luncheon today

WATERVILLE — Sen. Susan M. Collins will be the featured speaker at the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce’s Leading Women’s Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. today at O’Brien’s Restaurant, Best Western Plus, 375 Main St. The quarterly series features women speaking about their paths to success and their struggles along the way.

Survivors of Suicide support group set

SKOWHEGAN — Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County will offer a safe place for survivors, families and loved ones of suicide victims to share their loss with others who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. The group will meet 3:30-5 p.m. at 41 Main St. starting Wednesday, and run six to eight weeks.
