FARMINGTON — Once again, Sandy River Farms in Farmington will host its fifth annual Amazing Corn Maize. This year the maize features a design around the University of Maine Farmington’s 150th anniversary celebration.

FARMINGTON — A leisurely exploration of a Clearwater Lake by kayak is planned for 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. Those who plan to participate as asked to meet at the University of Maine Farmington Fitness & Recreation Center.

WATERVILLE — The Central Maine Growth Council will present the International Trade Symposium: Growing Trade and Global Outreach in Central Maine, from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The event, sponsored by TD Bank, hosted by Colby College and co-hosted by Maine International Trade Center, is in Colby’s Ostrove Auditorium-Diamond Building. The symposium brings experts in global finance and international trade to Central Maine.
