AUGUSTA — The Augusta Fire Department will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Hartford fire station, 369 Water St.
Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear will be on hand, and fire trucks and ambulances will be on display. In addition, state forest fire trucks, the fire marshal’s command vehicle and a demonstration of the Jaws of Life will be conducted.
A historical presentation and fire prevention and educational materials will be available.
