PITTSFIELD — Sebasticook Valley Hospital will hold a drive-through flu shot clinic from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday at Somerset Plaza. Adults can receive their seasonal flu shots from the warmth and comfort of their vehicles.

“This is an easy way to get a flu shot,” commented Terri Vieira, SVH President/CEO, said in a SVH press release. “SVH wants to improve access to seasonal flu shots for people to fit into their busy lives, and I am very pleased with the public response that this event has had whenever we’ve offered this in the community.”

Flu shots will be provided to adults, 18 years and older, for $22 per shot. Anyone receiving a shot should wait in their vehicles for at least 15 minutes after the shot to ensure no adverse reaction to the immunization.
