BRUNSWICK — Jake Dexter’s 2-yard touchdown run in overtime gave Messalonskee a 21-14 win in over over previously unbeaten Brunswick in a Pine Tree Conference Class B win Friday.

Dylan Bragg scored a short run for Messalonskee and teammate Corey McKenzie scored on a 55-yard run. Brady Larson and Lucas McCue scored for the Dragons.

Brunswick is 5-1, Messalonskee is 3-3.

Skowhegan 42, Brewer 6: Kaleb Brown had three touchdowns and rushed for 121 yards as the Indians beat the Witches in a PTC B game in Brewer.

Brown scored on a 4-yard run in the first quarter, caught a 19-yard pass for a score from Adam Clukey in the second quarter an scored on a 7-yard run in the third quarter for Skowhegan (3-3).
Brett Gilbert got Skowhegan on the board with a 70-yard kickoff return for a score in the first quarter. Gilbert caught the conversion pass from Clukey to make it 8-0.

DJ Allen, who also caught a two-point conversion pass in the first quarter from Clukey, caught a 17-yard TD pass in the second quarter. He also blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown in the third quarter.

“We spread it out, but we were looking to kind of control the ball on the ground a little bit more tonight, and we did that,” Skowhegan coach Matt Friedman said.

Clukey finished 7 for 13 pass for 103 yards and two touchdowns. He did not throw an interception.
Logan Rogerson scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter for Brewer.

“We had a great team defensive effort,” Friedman said. “We really stepped it up on defense.”

Mt. View 42, Ellsworth 20: Steven Davis scored four touchdowns, two rushing and two on punt returns, to lead the Mustangs to a Little Ten Conference win over the Eagles in Ellsworth.

Davis rushed for 114 yards for Mt. View (3-3) and had over 200 yards in punt returns.

Fullbacks Jack Axsom and Matt Wheeler also had touchdown runs for the Mustangs, who scored all of their points in the first quarter.

Ellsworth falls to 0-6.

MCI 47, Washington 7: Jonathan Santiago scored five touchdowns to lead the Huskies to the Eastern Class D win in Washington.

The junior tailback scored on runs of 2, 36. 28 and 9 yards and also caught a 22-yard scoring pass from quarterback Greg Vigue. The Huskies led 20-0 at the end of the first quarter and 26-0 at the half.

Alex Bertrand added a 4 yard run for MCI in the second half before Alex Jones capped the scoring with a 99 yard run in the fourth quarter after MCI’s second unit defense staged a goal-line stand.

MCI is 6-0, Washington is 1-5.

Nokomis 42, Camden Hills 0: Noah Kershner had 220 yards rushing and accounted for four touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a Big Ten Conference win over the Windjammers in Rockport.
Ray Girroir had 100 yards receiving and a touchdown for Nokomis (3-3).

Camden Hills falls to 1-5.
