All right, I’ve just about had it. Those who have read the Constitution know it states that if government isn’t working, we can abolish it. It’s time we did just that.

The Constitution also states that members of Congress should be compensated. I think $300 per month in food stamps and bus fare would be just compensation for all they have accomplished. The current salary of $175,000 per year is far more than members of Congress deserve for sitting on their hands while the country is rolled backward simply for the benefit of those nostalgic for the good old days of the robber barons.

And maybe, while we’re at it, the first order of business after the makeover should be to repeal that outdated Second Amendment.
