Oct. 16
Police responded to a report of theft after a man reported 37 cases of tile, valued at about $500, had been taken from his home on Pheasant Run Road. The caller said he does not live at the house, which is under foreclosure. The foreclosing bank reportedly told the man that they have a right to enter and remove any items in the home they deem to be a hazard, according to a police report. The representative did not say whether the bank had removed the tiles. Police told the caller the complaint was a civil issue.

A pair of brothers, ages 20 and 18, were charged with illegal transportation of drugs by a minor and marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Route 27.

A 2000 Saturn being driven south on Bog Road by a 17-year-old Alna boy went off the road and flipped onto its roof after the teen attempted to avoid a deer in the road.

A 20-year-old Dresden man was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor on Patterson Road.

Oct. 16
A 32-year-old man was charged with negotiating a worthless instrument during a traffic stop for speeding on Maine Avenue. The charge was connected to an investigation of an April incident.
